Chevrolet has expanded their LS crate-engine offerings to include the 6.0-liter L96 V8, the company announced at SEMA 2017.That adds to the company"s deep portfolio of drop-in LS engines. Previously, the Chevy Performance Parts catalog included only the bare L96 block as a part. This crate engine, part number 12677741, makes the torque-heavy, current Vortec version of the LS easier to swap in.
