64 Chevy truck with a 2 speed auto box, and V8 350 Shortblock.

Its Motd until around June and is tax exempt. I bought her earlier this year with dreams of rolling in a truck each day, but to be honest Ive done about 20 miles since Ive owned it due to no where to park in Brighton, or at my work.
My dreams have died for the time being.

I love the truck, and its got a really cool clearcoated patina and original (with a few holes) bed - with some US plates on it to cover the holes.

It needs a bit of work to make it uber perfect, like the vacuum choke is not connected properly so it can take a few turns to get her started - however it does star, and does run perfectly.

It had a new distributor, alternator etc before I owned it and it comes from dry state California - underneath is totally rust free.

I recently took it to a garage as I was having some issues with the wiring to the rear lights. The mechanic fixed them, and told me "ideally you need a new fuse box, or to get a second hand one" - the lights have since gone out again at the back, but anyone will tell you there is only about 8 wires on these trucks so electrics are simple.

I have no time, no space for her - and Im moving soon to another area of Brighton which will have no parking at all - so Im down to my motorcycle ony.

Its got a great green patina, and the interior is pretty cool as it was done by the previous owner. I have put some shop stickers on the door (not finished) but they peel right off.

The wheels and tyres are very rare, and in great condition.

Insurance for me is 150 fully comp for the year, and no tax.

I paid 8000 for this about 5 months ago, and id be looking to get 7000 for the truck. I may take a motorcycle in PX + cash my way, but as I work in the motorcycle trade, it would have to be a bit special to consider.

The C10 is the 3/4 ton C20 edition and is rare to find. Every one stares and comments - and she runs sweet.

Faults I know of:

Rear light wiring
No handbrake - was converted from manual before I had it, and they never put a handbrake in!! Either you need a nice MOT tester (It sits in park fine) or Im advised you need a "landrover" style handbrake - I dont know what that is to be honest, but im told its functional on off as opposed to graded like a car one.
The auto box cooler is leaking - I have a perfect working one to replace it. Simple job, just not been under the truck in the cold

No horn - its in the truck but not wired up (I have a new one for this too. To be honest - rev the engine
No windscreen washers - also on the car but no bottle. I have a bag kit for this but not fitted.
Choke needs fixing - still starts but is a pain when cold

Filler neck for fuel has a plastic pipe in it from the cap down the neck. Without this, when you fill up with fuel it will leak from the rubber seal at the top. It needs a new seal really, but I fixed pipe in it for temp measure.

Im an honest guy, and this is a really honest truck.

Any questions please ask - based in Brighton

May PX for an AstroVan, or Buell etc try me
