The chrome side all good but otherside you can slowly see rust would you
A, wire brush and rub over with used engine oil?
B, spray paint them silver or black
C, leave alone
D, spray them with that chrome spray paint
E, Nothing at all
F, any other suggestions

None of the above.
Assuming you are leaving the chrome side alone, I would wire brush the back side, acid etch prime, and then spray with stone chip.

I'll second that ;)

Stone chip would look nice and fresh if anyone got to see that side of the bumper. I was going to suggest that black stuff I put on my rear end. Something to protect it from rusting would be a good way to go.

You are thinking POR15 Dan. Yes, another option but I'm always hesitant to suggest that stuff as it's nasty, is toxic to breathe.

Yes that is the stuff, for some reason I can never remember the name, but it's darn good stuff. With all that fresh air darren has, I'm sure he can find a well ventilated area.

Of course you are right. Was just concerned about brain damage but could we tell?!!

Seriously, I would acid etch and either stonechip or POR15

when i had mine re chromed they told me to paint the inside face.
por15 great stuff, glad its toxic, environmentally friendly just means does not work very well. seriously dont get it on your skin it wont come off

POR15 dosn't come off skin well. i can vouch for that one. Got it on my arm, a scourer would do it in the end, but probably took a layer skin off with it.

yes you dont just take the paint off you take the skin off.

Lost the plot years ago when i brought my 1st yanktank :thumb::thumb:

POR15 yes frosts keep sending discount e.mails might try locally or ston stone chip as local motor factors sell me the cans for £2.5 after my discount.

In fact, thinking about it, I may well do the underside of the Dayvan with it.
Lovely gloss black finish that's really durable. Just make sure it's a breezy day for ventilation.

Still looks great on my rear end last time I saw it.
