elcome to my listing and rare opportunity to purchase a 1963 Chrylser Imperial in Turquoise (probably the only one for sale in the UK). I"ve decided to sell as It dosent get used that often (once this year) as I have other Classic cars and I feel it would be better off being enjoyed by someone who"s going to use it and show it off rather than it sitting tucked up with its cover on and battery charging here. <br />

These cars are really rare and have a look at the prices of them elsewhere, it"s insured at the moment for 18,000 and would make a wise investment. Cadillac etc are pretty common and less well made compared to these Imperial"s. Might make a good TV / Prom / Wedding car if you wanted to put it to work.<br />

I"m the 2"nd owner in the UK and I think 3"rd / 4"th since new. The car has a massive folder of history and its original manual, service history and bill of sale ($6,487.45 new in 1963 a mustang was $2,500 when released in 64).<br />

The car has just had an engine rebuild so is running perfectly with new oil / coolant etc. I also just fitted a modern starter as these big blocks can be a pain to wake up with the original ones. Also it has an edelbrock performance carb (year old).<br />

Do not be put off by the size as it"s easy to drive, its comfortable, good power and draws a crowd.<br />

As you"ll see from the photos its stunning for 54 years old, interior is original and I use turquoise covers on the seats but I wanted you to see it warts and all. It"s perfectly fine but if you wanted to you could get new seat covers and door cards. <br />

The engine sounds amazing, it"s a proper 413ci wedge big block and puts your mustangs / other small blocks to shame. Gives a proper burble due to the size of the thing. Mustangs etc are a pretty safe boring generic entrance fee into the classic American club, be a little different with the Chrysler !<br />
