Chrysler makes personnel moves

Chrysler Group LLC on Oct. 7 announced two personnel moves involving manufacturing operations. Brian Harlow was appointed President Head of NAFTA Manufacturing, replacing Mauro Pino, who was named Head of Manufacturing for the Latin America region. Harlow is now responsible for all assembly, stamping, and powertrain manufacturing operations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, as well as implementation of the World Class Manufacturing system at all Chrysler Group manufacturing facilities. He was most recently Global Head of Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering and Vice President and Head of NAFTA Powertrain Operations. Harlow earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering (1978) from Purdue University and a master"s of management (1998) from Indiana Wesleyan University. Pino earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering (1986) and a master of business administration degree (1987) from the University of Pisa.
