Fabulous fairly original "46 Truck , model 69C , original 239ci flathead V8 - .<br />
Which has had some improvements , adjustable valves , slightly hotter camshaft , slipper pistons ,<br />
new clutch .<br />
Has been thoroughly checked over by American car expert .<br />
New brake lines and wheel cylinders .<br />
has been sensibly upgraded to 12V electrics.<br />
solid example that has never been welded.<br />
1/2 ton short bed . new wood and ali .<br />
Original 3 speed floor shift manual transmission<br />
All lights work .<br />
New modern rad , Never over heats .<br />
oil and charging gauges work , no thermostat so that gauge is redundant and the petrol gauge<br />
is a bit iffy so carry a spare can with me .<br />
Good paint , not sure if original , suspect not but older and showing signs of it"s aged patina .<br />
Lovely straight panels in general with a couple of small scratches .<br />
Very reliable and great driver . Good fun .<br />
Original interior but with new upholstery .<br />
Running on modern tyres for ease of handling and replacement .<br />
Viewing welcome , would consider part exchange with same year panel truck . <br />
Original keys, door locks work .<br />
Owners manual and receipts go with truck .<br />
V5C in my name , have had truck for 2.1/2 years , would love to keep it but !<br />
All parts are readily and easily available both in the US and here in the UK, and are a reasonable price .<br />
