Learning life"s great lesson of the day; good things happen to people who do massive burnouts with more runoff space at a closed course or race track.Although the epic drama of the C7 Z06 hitting the tree wasn"t directly caught by the camera you can hear and feel the bang from the fiberglass, carbon fiber and other precious parts crunching on impact. The cameraman must have been a city block away yet my laptop"s speakers still gave a bass-induced kick. The car showed to be undrivable after the wreck looking like a NASCAR ready to be lifted from the track. After scouring the footage I think the Corvette will need framework and even worse retooling to the supercharged Chevy V8 engine. Certain sports cars today have special electronic traction control settings housed in the driving modes such as launching, drifting and other racing modes though drivers still need finesse. Computer-aided horsepower has changed the climate of speed in all areas and now adding forced-induction it"s a speeders all-you-can-eat dream. It"s time to start a campaign called Save-the-Males. There are too many dangerously fast cars out today.
