For sale is my 1974 Corvette Stingray which I purchased back in January 2011. After purchase I spent quite a lot getting the mechanicals sorted together with<br />
a few upgrades biggest of which was a conversion from the 3 speed automatic to a 5 speed manual transmission. 70mph now equates to 1800rpm. Other work undertaken<br />
included fitting a new rear spring and a smart strut conversion to tighten up the handling and a Sweet Thunder twin side exit exhaust system with headers. All<br />
work was undertaken by a Corvette specialist garage and I have a very large stack of receipts documenting the work including the replacement of a large number of<br />
ancillaries such as water pump, windscreen wiper motor, heater matrix etc.<br />

The Sweet Thunder exhaust won"t be to everyone"s taste as the name doesn"t really describe just how loud it is but the genuine pops and bangs it generates are <br />
intoxicating (no fancy electronics needed, just a good old fashioned carburetor and 5.7 litres of engine). <br />

I"d intended to keep the car for many years but circumstances change and I"ve now got a wedding to finance so reluctantly it"s for sale. It"s just had a new MOT <br />
and is ready for the summer. <br />
