When I read you booked the tranny in, I read it as if you took the gearbox out to get it serviced. doh!. tranny = trans-am.
Thats a lot of cars at the show. Never been to something with soo many cars before. Wheels Day in Aldershot is around 1000 cars.
There is a local event here in Port Solent The New Motor Show on 17th and 18th, so not sure how many would be up for the Cranleigh show, it does sounds very good though, did you go last year?
I was there, with Mick (69 mach one), very good selection of cars of all types plus tractors and steam engines, didn't take any pics though, massive fail on my part. However, the show was run as all car shows should be - Free entry to show cars + 1 passenger and rely on the public to cover entry costs etc. Live music and plenty of food stalls plus auto jumble and car boot type stuff to add variety. We made a donation on the way out in appreciation of a good , well organised show.
