Should a cyclist be able to go though a red light? humm, well its a tad dangerous even if they are going left to join another road.
Cyclists want to be treated as other road users, yet they can go though red lights as they choose. I am a cyclist myself, and respect cycling on the roads can be quite dangerous. As a driver I like to give room for them when over taking. However this cyclist gave me no opportunity to give him a wide birth. I had to narrowly miss the car on my right because this cyclist wanted to join the flow of traffic after going though a red light. If I was a lorry the cyclists fete would have been different. This video was just up the road from wickham, going to Botley after the Breakfast run to loomies.

It seems cyclists going through red lights is common, for this guy he wasn't soo lucky.
