For reluctant sale is "Daddy Cool", my all-steel 1946 Ford 2-door Coupe American Hot Rod.<br />

Tax and MOT exempt, although it is "MOT"d" until March 2017 with no advisories. Starts, drives and stops remarkably well. <br />
<br />
Originally built in the States (possibly during the "90s?) it was imported to the UK in early 2005 by it"s first owner and I bought it from him in late 2005. Updated and maintained ever since. Recent new oil and filter, negligible mileage since.<br />
<br />
Believed 1968 Ford V8, electronic ignition, rebuilt-3-speed automatic, but inhibitor switch not wired. Chrome alternator. Ford 9" rear axle. Rebuilt AMC Pacer front clip with PAS and PAB. It"s fairly tidy under the bonnet but a few hours and some elbow grease would work wonders!<br />

Complete re-wire in Summer 2006.<br />

Tinted side and rear windows, one-piece door glass conversion (1/4 lights removed.) Electric front windows, chrome internal glass surrounds.<br />
<br />
American Racing Torque Thrust 2 5-spokes, 14" and 15".<br />
<br />
"Ididit" special-order polished chrome column with integral ignition switch, "Budnik" wheel. Red/white interior, front Recaros. Special-order brass/cream matched gauge set, although original speedo and fuel gauge are retained for accuracy. <br />
<br />
Removable tow bar but unused, untested and unchecked..<br />
<br />
Pretty decent Pioneer tuner/CD/DVD player, screens built-in to sunvisors.<br />
<br />
Please be aware that whilst it is well-cared for, maintained and looked after, there are some small areas of bubbling paint. Nothing has "broken through" but may require some minor attention over the Winter to prevent them worsening.<br />
<br />
There is a slight PAS fluid leak from a flexi-hose which I am arranging to have repaired. Again, nothing serious but needs addressing.<br />

If you fancy it, please be quick and serious - you"d NEVER build it for the asking price.<br />
