That's so sad. Des was one of our much loved entertainers and a lovely guy. A real British household name.
He seemed so fit and well. But reports do say he had had a fall sadly.

Des was less on TV recently, but hosted a Chat show called Des O'Connor tonight which ran for around 20 years on ITV. Although he did a daytime TV show with Melanie Sykes a few years back.
