Hello,

Genuine and reluctant sale of my Dodge Dakota SLT 3.9 Magnum.

Driving a nice American classic been my dream for years and finally fulfilled that end of last year. Now life circumstances (divorce and house move) make me having to sell one of the nicest cars I have ever owned.

I could spend lines and lines of text to describe how nice this car is to drive. I will just shorten it to say that it sounds amazing (it is quite loud) and drives as smooth as modern car (don t expect harsh truck ride) instead google 1997 Dakota and read on how nice Dodge has made these car to drive and handle.

It is a nice manual with 2WD which means you can run it on 20mpg around town and 25mpg on the motorway comparable probably what you can out of Navara or Discovery.

The truck is clean, no rust (apart from spot mentioned below) and straight and very close to original (apart from some LED lights added by previous owner). Clutch and gearbox are very good and engine runs as sweet as nut!

It will suit some who either just likes cruising, or someone who wants to make a lot of noise and burn out smoke and drift. Or someone who likes both.

Trust me it is a stunning truck and I haven"t seen one like that in UK.

The car comes with:

- 2 keys
- Service history
- Lots of invoices
- UK style plates
- Fuel economy equal to 20-25mpg

Cheap insurance (mine is 180 pa), tax is 20 per month

Access to cheap parts (all available off the shelf of within 4 working days thanks to US Automotive Ltd from Bedford). Just to give you idea rear shocks were 30 each, front dicsc were 40 per pair... etc....).

Recent work included:
- New timing chain, tensioners and gears (done by previous owner).
- New discs and pads, and rear shoes
- New rear shocks
- New tension bar links
- Output shaft seal
- New all 4 tyres.

Features:

- 6 seats
- ABS
- Power steering
- Built in Cup holder (holds two massive cups)
- Massive arm rest (middle seat drops down)
- Original radio-cassette player with aux
- Proper tailgate which you can extend, already long, flat bed
- Clean interior (carpet in foot well would do with clean), no rips
- Exterior lights
- Custom exhaust
- All original!
- Nice American style number plates.
- Air con not sure how to test it.
- No Fault Codes when plugged in to the OBD reader.

The car comes with:

- Driver"s and passenger"s window wind deflector.
- Tinted rear windows.
- Tow bar (missing neck, about 50- 60 on ebay).
- The bed is lined with rubber matt and is fitted with tie down points (I carried my large 300cc maxi scooter on it - plenty of room! unlike modern pickups).

To make it perfect someone would need to sort out the small buble of rust on the near side arch - everything else is spot on if you consider she is 20 years old!

If you have any questions please let me know.

Serious offers considered. PX considered for small cheap car ie. Your car plus cash.

Many thanks,
