Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 made 1995, first registered 1996 only proven 51000 miles from new. This have best Cummins engine ever made the 12 valve with Bosch inline fuel pump. and 47 rh auto box. <br />

Long story about this vehicle so here goes.....One owner truck in USA and was brought over by someone I new when 1 year old, he decided to sell at 2 years and gave me first offer I went to his with my friend to pick up for myself but my long time friend said please can I have it, so I gave in and let him have it, that was in 1998. <br />

My friend was a great guy but eccentric he used the dodge for about 1 year then parked it up with his huge collection of vehicles/ motorbikes, the dodge then sat in his shed till 2013 when unfortunately he died, (Dodge had never had an mot yet) His only sisters said would I like to have it and I bought it.<br />

I took the body off, new brakes, new brake lines, changed all fluids and it fired straight up, it was always regularly started, he used to like sitting in them.<br />

Dodge had its first Uk mot on 26 6 2013, this tuck is completely rust free, body and chassis.<br />

I thought I had very thing covered on this motor, killer dowell pin was done as a preventative measure, (read up on net about these) and it ran like a dream.<br />

Now here is the problem coming back from a long trip 3 mile from home, I lost over drive so I thought keep the revs down, poodle home, going up the next hill all drive went !<br />

I have since found out the there is a valve in the transmission line that hold on till the trans warms up then lets it go to overdrive, this apparently can get stuck and you quickly cook auto box as I did. Yanks do away with valve and put temp gauge for transmission. I learned to late.<br />

Well to sum up the 47 RH trans will need a full rebuild, at the moment I have lost heart, this truck is my pride and joy and quite rare in UK being 8 ft bed and single cab. Please note this truck is in A1 condition with low miles I will not be interested in stupid offers this is a classic that will only increase in value (My insurance 120 for year) road tax 230 The camper that is in picture is sold.<br />

I have all documentation from when truck sold in USA, all import docs, hand book, spec sheet etc etc.....10000% genuine vehicle !<br />

If It does not make price I want, I will simply fix it and keep, but at present lost heart !<br />
