This week"s Drag Race video features a 5th gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 drag racing at TX2K16 against a Dodge Neon SRT4. I’m not clear on the details of the racing action here, but the fact that both time boards say "10.50" leads me to believe that these two cars are running in a 10.50 index class. You might be thinking "wowa 10.50 Neon that is pretty fast!" Well, it appears as though the Neon owner had expectations that were a bit too high, as the Camaro rips out to a huge lead as soon as the green lights drop. The Camaro has a big lead at the 660 mark and when the blown muscle car got to the finish line, the driver was far enough ahead to hit the brakes and hide what the car can really do. Even in braking hard enough to only trap 98 miles per hour, this Camaro turned in an ET of 11.08, so the driver should have had solid success in a 10.50 class when he isn"t riding the brakes across the finish line.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: 5th Gen, 5th Gen Camaro, camaro, Camaro ZL1, Chevrolet, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Drag Race, drag race monday, ZL1
