This week"s Drag Race video features a 5th gen Camaro SS going head to head with a Ford Raptor F-150 at Bandimere Speedway. The Raptor is the most powerful production truck ever offered by Ford with 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque, while the far lighter Camaro SS packs somewhere in the area of 426 horsepower 420 lb-ft of torque.By all accounts, the Camaro should stomp the Raptor, but the driver of this Chevy decided to give this F-150 a very healthy head start at the beginning of the run. It looks like the Camaro is struggling for traction while the Raptor drives away, but once the Chevy gets moving, the driver is able to blow past the big Ford before the finish line.In the end, the Camaro runs a 15.81 at 99 miles per hour which is slow by normal standards but the mile high conditions at Bandimere leads to far slower quarter mile times than you might see at sea level.Tags: 5th Gen Camaro, camaro, Drag Race, drag race monday, LS3
