Lexus’s results in our Driver Power ownership satisfaction survey are exemplary. Yet again the Japanese firm took top spot in our brand rundown, as voted for by you, our readers.
You praised Lexus’s cars for their powertrains (it came top in this class), with hybrid tech coming to the fore to deliver good efficiency in its cars. The company also ranked in top spot for exterior and interior, as well as reliability and build quality, while Lexus scored in the top three for ride and handling and safety features, too. This kind of consistency shows why Lexus owners are a happy bunch and underpins the manufacturer’s success in our independent surveys.
Lexus dealers also ranked first out of 30 of the biggest brands, with customers praising its franchises across the board.
You told us the quality and speed of work, customer communication, value for money, availability of courtesy cars and the physical dealer sites’ facilities were all superb. Some other premium brands could clearly learn from Lexus, because its rivals all finished way down the order compared with this stunning result.
From how its products perform in the eyes of their owners, to how its dealers conduct themselves, it’s clear that during an uncertain year, where public confidence in many areas is low, Lexus is bucking the trend with brilliant service that has underpinned yet another superb showing from the brand.
With a strong and loyal customer base, plus an ever-stronger product line-up, could we see Lexus standing on top of the pile once again in 2021? We wouldn’t bet against it.
