This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 1967 Pontiac Firebird on the rollers with a modern stroker motor under the hood. This Firebird is powered by an LS1 stroked to 383 cubic inches, fitted with a performance camshaft and topped with high performance cylinder heads.Unfortunately, we don"t get to see much of the car or any of the engine bay, but the car looks clean in this tight angle and most importantly this classic Pontiac sounds incredible.Of course, when I say "most importantly" about the sound, that obviously doesn"t include the power levels, as this video ends by showing the dyno chart for this 1st generation Pontiac Firebird. The old school muscle car laid down 442 rear wheel horsepower and 402 lb-ft of rear wheel torque likely making it one wicked-fun street car.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: 1st gen firebird, Dyno Blast, Firebird, ls1, Pontiac, stroker
