This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS fitted with the Hennessey HPE800 package being tested on the rollers. In standard form, this 2016 Camaro SS with the 8-speed automatic transmission made 401 horsepower and 407 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.When the Hennessey Performance HPE800 package is added, the supercharger and the long list of other modifications lift the output to 669 horsepower and 577 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. According to the Texas tuner, that is 804 horsepower and 692 lb-ft of torque at the crank.This big power is achieved by adding forged aluminum pistons, billet steel h-beam connecting rods with hardened bolts, a fully balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly, a high flow intake manifold, ported and polished heads with a competition valve job, a heavy duty valve train, a new hydraulic roller camshaft, 1.75 inch stainless headers, a full stainless steel exhaust system with high flow convertors and of course the supercharger pushing 7 psi into the engine.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS fitted with the Hennessey HPE800 package being tested on the rollers.
