This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT on the rollers. The G8 GT came from the factory with an L76 V8 that delivered 361 horsepower at the transmission and roughly 300 (give or take) at the rear wheels.This particular G8 GT has been fitted with a collection of bolt-on performance accessories including the Vararam intake, long tube catless headers, 2.5" exhaust with an x-pipe and no mufflers and 3.27 rear gears.Like all GT models, this muscular sedan is fitted with an automatic transmission and the video begins as the big Pontiac sedan quietly works up to 3rd gear. After a few seconds of "rolling" in 3rd, the driver hammers the throttle and the RPMs soar as the unmuffled American V8 roars.The end result of this Pontiac G8 GT dyno run is 356 horsepower and 373 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.
