Built C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with 8-speed automatic transmission hits 207 MPH on the dyno, laying down more than 800 horsepower. The C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is one bad mamma-jamma. With 650 horsepower and 650lb-ft of torque, the C7Z is the most powerful production Corvette in a long line of very powerful cars. However, for some people, that is still not enough power. Fortunately, the newest supercharged Corvette is only a handful of parts away from making even more power, and the LT4-powered C7 in the video below has been fitted with some of those items. The mod list for this 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 includes a Halltech cold air intake, Kooks 2″ long tube Headers and cat-less x-pipe, an Innovators West 18% overdrive crank pulley, TSP/PRC ported and polished LT4 heads. A TSP .660 lift dual spring kit with titanium retainers, a Comp Cams rocker arm bearing upgrade kit, a custom camshaft (232/244 635/635 116+5), a Comp Cams cam phase limiter, a Fasterproms 1.5 Gallon Intercooler Expansion Tank, a Weapon-X High Flow high pressure fuel pump, a Weapon-X low pressure pump and an Alky Controls dual Nozzle MAF methanol kit all of which is brought together with an E85 tune with boost levels in the range of 14psi.The video shows the dyno run from multiple angles, including under the hood, looking down over the back end (flame cam) and one over the driver"s shoulder. From each view, we can watch and listen as the driver gradually works his way up to 6th gear, followed by a good, hard blast of acceleration. The result: 802 horsepower and 796lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. When factoring in a drivetrain loss ratio of 18%, this C7 is making around 978 horsepower and 970lb-ft of torque at the crankshaft.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
