This week"s Dyno Blast Wednesday video features a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS powered by a 383 cubic inch LSX V8. This particular LSX engine is fitted by a set of Trick Flow cylinder heads and a custom grind camshaft from Hawks Motorsports. This naturally aspirated LSX has a pretty health grumble to it, so I wonder if it doesn"t also have a set of headers and a high flow exhaust system, but the bottom line is that this 2002 Camaro doesn"t have forced induction or nitrous. We get to see the LSX-powered 4th gen Camaro SS make a dyno run from a couple of different angles, giving us a chance to hear the 383 cubic inch engine scream at wide open throttle. Most importantly, the end of the video shows the dyno readout with 470 rear wheel horsepower and 434lb-ft of rear wheel torque.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
