Are liquid fuel cars better in regards to catching fire. You don't hear if them just going up in flames. Perhaps battery technology needs more development before they produce more cars? That ball is already rolling though and stopping production won't happen as governments want to be seen doing that 'green' thing. Perhaps the emissions figures of the electric cars when it's in thermal runaway need to be put on the purchase label must like we have an emissions figure on a liquid fuel cars. They wouldn't look so 'green' then.
