Nando is on the move again. After racing at Spa this month and Le Mans next, the two-time F1 World Champion will step down from Toyota"s WEC team to "pursue new motorsport challenges". He will be replaced by former Porsche driver Brendon Hartley for the 2019-20 season, which starts in September at Silverstone and ends with next year"s Le Mans 24hrs. But he might not be gone for long. After the announcement was made, Alonso told Autosport he would one day return to the series. "100 per cent I will come back to WEC," he said in an interview. "I like the unpredictably of the racing with all the traffic and I like the team spirit of sharing a car with team-mates." He said any return to the WEC would be with Toyota, and that the team with which he won Le Mans in 2018 is "perfect in everything it does".
