Fiat Chrysler Automobiles on Oct. 28 named Mark Chernoby (SAE member, 2003) Head of Quality. He continues his current responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer Product Development, a post to which he was named in August 2014. Among his previous positions at Chrysler Group was Senior Vice President of Engineering. He joined Chrysler in 1985 as a powertrain engineer. Chernoby replaces Doug Betts, who left the company to pursue other interests. In a separate announcement Oct. 28, Chrysler Group announced that Matthew Liddane has been appointed Head of Quality, North America. He previously was Vice President Systems and Components, Chrysler Group.
