This week"s flashback video features a commercial for the 1995 Chevrolet Corvette in which the American sports car shows up several high end, high priced competitors from Europe.The meat of this commercial takes placed on a skidpad where the 1995 Corvette, the Porsche 944, the Porsche 928, the Ferrari 308 GT and the Lotus Espirit Turbo are accelerating through the tight circle. The Corvette is able to hold 0.91g while the German, British and Italian sports cars all fall short.This later acceleration test measures a vehicle"s ability to make use of its power and its ability to handle a sweeping turn while under power.
