For sale spares/repair is my trusty 1998 Ford Aerostar minivan. I"ve had this vehicle for 9 years now, and I am just not using it <br />
anymore so it is time for it to find a new home + the fact I"m emigrating to spain and can"t take it with me so she"s <br />
got to go, <br />

What is there to say about the Aerostar They were probably some of the toughest minivans ever built, and they feature <br />
rear wheel drive, which makes towing trailer quite easy. This particular car DOES have a trailer hitch <br />
and wiring. The Aerostar was loosely based upon the Ford Ranger pickup, though with a unibody and a Taurus V6 engine. <br />
The 3.0 liter 146 hp engine gives the van the ability to cruise all day at 75-80 mph without feeling strained, and the <br />
air conditioning is COLD! The van is in good condition overall, though there is some sun fading on the roof. <br />
Otherwise The van really does look very good overall. The gray cloth interior is in good shape, the 2 rear seats fold <br />
down to convert it into a double bed, the front seats are captain seat and revolve 360 deg, also with internal adjustable <br />
blinds to the rear It has had a new auto box fitted which cost over 1200.00 and with the vehicle there is an awning <br />
complete with poles and plastic grid flooring that alone cost over 1000.00, and a box of hoses and bits for it, <br />
it comes with manufactures and a haynes manuals, The engine is fine as I run it now and then just to keep it from seizing up,<br />
The bads: a bit of rust on the off side wheel arch, and requires a exhaust pipe tail end. The steering wheel has some <br />
minor "play" right where it meets the column, and this is caused by a plastic bushing that commonly fails. <br />
Tyres are good and the brakes may need of attention <br />
This van would be perfect for a young family, or someone who would like to convert it with utensils <br />
