This lovely all original old truck has just arrived with me in the UK , 28th December ,from the USA
Cool cool original 1 owner truck, remember they are only original once! This is a VERY rare find with factory V8 and one owner. There are straight sixes out there but very few factory V8s!
You just don"t find them like this anymore! Be quick this will sell fast, when did you see another similar example?
1955 Ford F100 pickup truck. One US owner from new
Rare Custom Cab so a far nicer place to be, numerous differences in terms of cab comfort, also a Chrome trimmed front grill and drip rail.
Desirable half ton short bed.
In its original "G" code Sea Sprite Green factory paint with great patina. This truck has never been repainted! It is in great original condition! No painted over body filler here!
Still utilizing push button starter
Has original keys which fit door locks and all work
Original 239 cubic inch 3900cc OHV V8 petrol engine with 4 on the floor synchromesh transmission.
The truck has been registered recently in the US and has been regularly used.
It starts, runs drives and stops very very well indeed. The engine fires straight up, sounds great, does not show any signs of excess wear , rattles or smoke! In fact it is so quiet at idle you can hardly hear it. It runs beautifully.
Original 6 volt electrics, just had a new solenoid, oil pressure gauge and battery fitted. It has also had new pipework and fuel pump.

Body wise it is about as good as it gets. The cab corners and floors are very solid. The chassis is very solid. The only rust that has penetrated is i the running boards/side steps.
The sheet metal is very very straight.
The interior is all original and very very tidy as you can see from the photos.
All cab glass except windscreen is in excellent undamaged condition, however it does come with a brand new windscreen and rubber( cost 300)
Currently fitted with 15 inch aftermarket wheels but comes with original 16 inch steel rims.
This is a very very nice rare original truck, I can either sell registered with a V5 with new tyres on the original rims all legal and ready to drive away or I can sell it at a reduced price unregistered and requiring some simple work so that you can be 1st UK owner on the V5 . I can help you with the registration, it is very very simple!I have the US paperwork including Original Title and NOVA showing duties paid.
Of course the truck is MOT and Road Tax exempt. That said though,of course it does need to be road legal!
The truck is a great piece of US history , it would be a shame to mess with such an original truck. This truck has been loved and cherished its entire life and deserves a discerning new owner who will appreciate what a rare example it is!
All parts are available for these trucks both here in the UK and in the US. In fact you could rebuild the entire truck with replacement parts should you so wish!
No silly offers, no trades, finding these trucks in their original state is becoming increasingly difficult.Sourcing them and shipping them to the UK is an expensive task.
Many have been scrapped and many have been hot rodded with later engines etc.
Remember , this is a 60 year old truck. As such it will drive like one. It will not drive like your 2010 BMW.
