Now at the end of its restoration in our workshops:1965 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD 289 V8 with 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission.Factory A/C,Power Steering,original steel wheels and hub caps fitted with new white band tyres.<br />

This is what appears to be in factory specification with its original 289 V8 C code engine and transmission still fitted with its original carburetor,air cleaner,radio and front and rear seat belts.Suspension on the 1965 Galaxie models was redesigned replacing the former leaf-spring rear suspension<br />
with a new three-link system, with coil springs all of which made for much improved ride and handling.<br />

Has just been fully repainted in its original Ford Sunlit Gold metallic paint after being changed to red some years ago. Virtually all of the interior has been renewed including seat covers,dash top,headlining and carpets.New custom dual exhaust and manifolds and the braking system overhauled. Will be supplied with 12 months MOT,service and engine tune.And being an Historic Vehicle road tax is of course free.<br />

The mid 1960"s Galaxies are an impressive sight on the road and this particular example is no less so and for such a big car powers smoothly through the gears effortlessly. Will be supplied with new UK registration and new black plates.If they wish we can register with the DVLA in the purchasers name to make them the first registered UK owner.<br />
