Our latest classic to land and nearing the completion of light restoration in our workshop.Ex-California factory original 1968 Ford Mustang 289 V8 C code Convertible with C4 Auto Transmission,Power Steering,Power Hood,GT turn signal louvered hood,dual exhaust and factory Deluxe wheel covers.<br />

Previously restored in California in 2004 but has spent the last 5 years garage dry stored.We have just treated it to new paintwork in period Gulfstream Aqua metallic to compliment the two-part blue vinyl bucket seats and interior.Now benefits from new chrome bumpers,new front steel valance,Galaxy R1 white band tyres on original refurnished steel wheels,suspension and brake overhaul with new track rod end"s and steering arms and new Haartz pinpoint power hood in Ford White.The original interior is in lovely condition and has been removed to be cleaned and refitted. We have taken photos at all stages so far and along with all associated restoration invoices will form part of a history file for its new owner. Also comes with a U.S Marti Report, containing its build information and confirming this is a stock factory car.<br />

This car built in December 1967 originally left the factory in Diamond Blue paint and the change of colour to the deeper metallic blue of Gulfstream Aqua the only major deviation from original. It looks stunning and superbly suited to one of the the most iconic of all the 60"s Convertibles ever to come out of America - or anywhere for that matter!<br />

Will be supplied with new UK registration,new black plates and new 12 months MOT,service and specialist engine tune.<br />
Being a Historic Vehicle road tax is free.The original spare wheel and tools are with it along with a new plaid boot mat.<br />

This is an exceptional car that is going to look quite spectacular on completion which we estimate will be around the end of January 2016.I think we all need something this good looking in our garage! <br />
