1973 Mustang Convertible - VIN 3F03Q181***

This is one of the rarest and most desirable 1973 Mustang Convertibles surviving anywhere today.
This car is a well-documented low mileage true survivor.
It has most of the available options for this year and model. It has the original bright red exterior with white interior -- the most sought after colour combination. The car is gorgeous -- and rare.
There were only 85 bright red exterior/white knit interior cobra jet convertibles made in 1973 and this one is loaded with desirable options.
It"s a 1973 Q Code 351C Convertible, Bright Red with White De-Luxe Sebring Knit/Corinthian Vinyl Bucket seat interior.
4V V8 351c.i. (5700cc) Cleveland Cobra Jet Engine - C6 Auto 3-speed Gearbox.
Tinted Glass. Original Tan Power Soft Top with Glass Backlite

I"d describe it as a genuine "Survivor" car in lovely original unrestored condition.

It was undersealed from new and has therefore never had rust issues because of this. This car has probably always been stored inside and I doubt it has ever seen winters.
The paint is gorgeous with only a few extremely minor blemishes.

The original power operated soft top is in great condition and it has the matching parade vinyl boot (hood cover).
The Interior is in superb condition with minimal wear, the door cards, armrests and front & rear seats are all pristine. The carpet is as new, no fading.
It even has all four original Ford floor mats.
It"s showing 66,000 miles and from all the documentation I have I"d agree it was genuine.

The many factory Options include, Ford AM/FM Stereo Radio with factory concealed Door speakers, "Rim Blow" 3-spoke Steering Wheel, Sport Wheel Covers, Tilt Steering, Power Front disc brakes, Power Steering,
Limited Slip Differential (Ford 9" 3.25 ratio Traction-Lok), Staggered Rear Shocks.
Full Instrumentation Group package with Tachometer & Gauges. Convenience Group. Appearance Protection Group. Full Factory Console. Colour Keyed Racing mirrors,
Factory Air Conditioning/does not blow cold.
The heater/defroster works brilliantly for those crisp autumn days.
The special 351/4V factory under bonnet Cold Air induction ducting is all present & correct & intact. You hardly ever see this!

It comes with a Fully detailed De-Luxe Marti Report.
There were 11,853 1973 Convertible Mustangs Produced
Of these only 675 were "Q" Code with Automatic Transmissions
Of that 675 only 85 were produced with Bright Red Paint/White Interior
You can take a guess how many are left in unmolested condition in this highly optioned desirable colour combination!
Not very many at all!

These are the parts I"ve had replaced under my ownership with Invoices to document the work/purchases.
I imported the car from the USA in 2013, I purchased it from a Lawyer who"d owned it for 12 years, before that it was the local FORD Main Dealers personal car for many years and was proudly displayed in his showroom getting little use, hence the low miles.

When I had the Water Pump and Timing Set fitted at the renowned marque Specialist "Mustang Maniac" the business owner Adam commented it was the nicest example of a 1971-73 convertible they had ever seen, they were amazed at the overall condition and originality.

Under my ownership it has lived in a de-humidified garage. I"m based in London E4,
My name is on the logbook and I"m the only UK owner.
I should be able to arrange for you to inspect it on a four post lift so you can see the underside is solid, original and all in good order.

This is a fully sorted classic ready for the summer and needs nothing, a really lovely example, you just never see them like this.
