Original and unmolested 1964 Ford Mustang Convertible, very rare and highly collectable. Low mileage.
I am selling my beautiful 1964 Ford Mustang Convertible. The car is very original, very rare. and in excellent condition.
Manufactured in Dearborn MI, and rolled off the production line on 2nd July 1964. It was originally sold in South Carolina and shipped to Texas where the 1st owner took possession. The 2nd owner then took the car back to Michigan, Grand Rapids, where I bought the car nearly 3 years ago. So only 3 owners from new. The car comes with a very detailed documented history, original owners handbook, and workshop manual.
During the 51 years the car has only covered 38,360 miles, hell it"s probably not even run in yet!
The power plant is the Ford V8 260ci (4.3L) engine which runs smooth and has been very reliable during the time that I have owned the car. The transmission if the Ford Cruise-o-matic 4 speed auto box.
The car is in Vintage Burgundy and the paint is mostly original. A couple of the panels have been painted in the past and I have all the receipts for the work in a very comprehensive history package for the car.
As you can see from the pictures the convertible roof is white and is powered. The white roof really complements the colour of the car and it looks as good with the roof up or down.
This is your chance to own a piece of American automotive history, an original car that"s not been molested, customised or restored. Please contact me to arrange a viewing to appreciate the full majesty of a magnificent car.
