After nearly 10 years ownership, countless hours of hard work and fun, a few mini-adventures and quite a lot of cash, time has come to say a fond farewell. My 1965 Ford Thunderbird Landau 390ci is up for sale. It has had a fair bit of work done, especially in the engine bay. Has had the carb and gearbox reconditioned, new fuel & water pumps, cylinder heads overhauled, new/reconditoned brakes throughout, including new servo and master cylinder, new radiator, hoses and a reconditioned expansion tank, new suspension and steering bushes where required. Even the electric aerial motor has been professionally rebuilt. The only bodywork I needed to do was a new floor in the boot, (typical t"bird problem, now sorted). It still needs some small-scale detailing, but it turns heads and has been a joy to own, It starts very well, having had all the ignition components replaced, including the starter relay and alternator. Colour is quite striking and the thin stripe whitewall tyres set it off nicely. New sequential indicator circuit board fitted, so the back lights work perfectly and look fantastic. This car came from Georgia to the UK 10 years ago where it had received a lot of renovation work including new front wings and a respray. Underneath is very sound and rust free. New MOT just passed. The cars are starting to appreciate, so now would be the time to grab one before the prices go up. I will consider sensible offers from genuine buyers. <br />
