The latest Ford performance teaser all but confirms that this new model set for a debut in Los Angeles is a high-performance Ford Mustang GT350. At the end of this latest video, we see a silhouette of what looks like a slightly widened Mustang and can hear the unmistakable sound of a V-8 engine burbling at idle.

Even though an earlier teaser suggested the new Mustang GT350 would feature an EcoBoost engine, this video refutes that possibility. Instead, this new teaser likely confirms earlier rumors that this new high-po Mustang would be powered by a 5.2-liter, flat-plane crank V-8 engine. We previously reported that this engine could make more than 600 hp, and its flat-plane crank layout should make for a high-revving, responsive character to give this hot Mustang a racy feel.

The silhouette of the Mustang in this video also shows off a wider front end, and Ford designer Moray Callum says in the video that this new model has a widened track and a lowered hood. Expect plenty of chassis improvements for the Ford Mustang GT350 too, including stiffer springs and dampers and upgraded brakes to make for a comprehensive performance enhancement to go along with all the extra power.
We can?t wait to see what Ford has in store for the new Mustang GT350, so make sure to come back next week as this new model makes its official debut in Los Angeles.
