Forget freedom of speech bring back freedom of design

Better than any euro box , the image that's in your rear view mirror wow

Trouble is they design cars for sales, weather that will be seating room, boot space, or fuel economy. It's like they click on 'Render Car' on their software resulting is so many companies cars looking the same.
The only place you see better designed cars is premium sports cars where they are more unique.

It looks like it was great back in the 50's, 60's and 70's where cars were designed to look great, good flare, more chrome etc..

Back when cars were designed by humans.
These days these put numbers into a computer and you end up with the same design from all. Add to that the need to share components to reduce cost (which isn't passed on to the consumer) and the roads are flooded with boring turds with the odd bit of glitter to make them standout.

Lets also not forget the need to save fuel means reduced weight. Those bumpers and the engine combined probably weigh more than Dan's Kia!
Plus the need for pedestrian protection (although why pedestrians are in the road is something I haven't figured out!!)

I was driving it in the wind the other day, felt like it was going to blow away.

Soon pedestrians will rule the roads as the know what cars automatically stop, like the new Volvo's. Once all cars have this feature people can walk in the road without being hit.
At the moment its an unknown is cars will stop, so pedestrians seem to stick to the path, although you do get some playing chicken purposely taking ages to walk across the road. Blipping the throttle on the T/A gets them out of the road once they have jumped 12 inches, lol.

I find downshifting and flooring it works quite well too, although this is normally followed by loads of foul language and gesticulating at the back of my car, after they have leapt out of the way. I find a single middle finger appropriately raised in salute lets them know my feelings on the matter....

it seems to me fuel consumption figures are about as honest as vw exhaust emission claims.
