Water has long been the great enabler of life on Planet Earth. But now it has been put to far, far better use. More horsepower. The new BMW M4 GTS, which we"ve now driven, is a car that boasts 493bhp (thanks to some trick water injection) and a seriously fast Ring time. It is a special, track-focused edition of the already-track-capable M4.That water-injection system helps the engine run at a cooler temperature, see, yielding those extra horsepowers - 68 of em - which go hand in hand with 62 fewer kilograms. The GTS junks the regular M4"s back seats, among other things, to drag its 0-62mph time below four seconds. There"s also a rather serious body kit and standard carbon-ceramic brakes. However, it"s also not the first time BMW has churned out a special edition version of its M3 Coupe (the car the M4 replaced, don"t forget) with more power, a mighty wing and lightweight bits. Here are six more special-edition BMW M3s.We suspect one in particular will stand out amongst the rest
