Deepest Oxfordshire is home to RAF Bicester an old military airfield which, in 2013, became the hub", if you like, of Britain"s classic car industry. The site sat neglected for four decades, but now most of the recommissioned buildings are home to more than 35 specialist businesses that deal in the sale and restoration of old vehicles and their components.It"s quite a place and a few times classic car owners, car clubs and the public are invited in for a day-long event called the Sunday Scramble". Cars are displayed, and the companies that call Bicester home open their doors and show off their wares. Last weekend"s running saw more than 6,000 people wandering around. One of them had a camera so sit back and have a click though the best pics from the day.
