Brabus already builds a Maybach version of its so-called Rocket 900". At the Geneva Motor Show a motor show in Geneva it revealed the Coupe version. It too, is called the Rocket 900, and like its saloon sibling, contains all of the power.887bhp, to be precise, courtesy of a reworked, rebored 6.3-litre twin-turbo V12 engine mounted up front. There are also two new, larger Brabus turbos, specially modified cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds, a new air intake and reworked ECU. Somewhere in the middle there is a seven-speed automatic gearbox, sending power - and 884lb ft of torque - to the rear wheels. The torque has been limited too, to protect the rest of the powertrain. Yikes. As such, 0-62mph takes just 3.7s, 0-124mph is dusted in 9.1s, while its top speed will happily, um, top 217mph. How do we know this? "The Brabus speedometer whose scale ends at 250mph", we"re told. You"ll spot more body additions (bumpers, carbon attachments, some chrome, some wheels), while there is some suspension tweakery as well as a revised inside.Have a click through the pics. Which of the Brabus Rockets" takes your fancy saloon or coupe? Or do you prefer Mansory"s take on the S-Coupe?
