Mansory may have teased a glimpse of a tuned Bentayga a few months back, but Brabus offshoot Startech is the first to reveal a proper, tuned Bentley Bentayga. This is it. There"s an integrated spoiler and larger air intakes providing a "supply of fresh air for engine, radiators, front brakes and wheel-well ventilation".The strikingly-shaped" air deflectors for the sides and front wing are said to help reduce lift and optimise" stability; quite an important metric for a 600bhp performance SUV. You can, of course, spec them in carbon if you so wish.While we"re hovering around the engine specifics, Startech hasn"t actually played with the Bentayga"s W12; instead, a performance pack is in the pipeline. Be afraid.Swoop around back and there are more diffusers, quad exhaust pipes that cap off a full sports exhaust system (with many modes of NOISE), and an LED lighting system integrated into said diffuser that was modelled like those on the back of Formula One cars.The wheels? Monster, lightweight 23in forged rims, that are 15 per cent lighter than others wheel of the same size, apparently. The suspension is 25mm lower than the lowest of the Bentayga"s factory settings, and there remains the option of customising the interior to your wallet"s content.Oh, and you can, should you so wish, spec your Startech Bentayga with the thrilling" widebody conversion (read: bigger arches).So, have a quick scan through the pics and let us know what you think.
