GM shuffles personnel to improve customer satisfaction

General Motors on Nov. 20 announced four major personnel changes with the goal of improving customer satisfaction. The moves are effective immediately. All of the people involved have held engineering positions with the company. Alicia Boler-Davis, currently Senior Vice President, Global Quality and Customer Experience, is named Senior Vice President, Global Connected Customer Experience. Grace Lieblein, currently Vice President, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain, is named Vice President, Global Quality. Steve Kiefer, currently Vice President, Global Powertrain, is named Vice President, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. Dan Nicholson (SAE Member, 1988), currently Executive Director of Powertrain Embedded Controls, is promoted to Global Powertrain Vice President, assuming Kiefer"s responsibility. Mary Chan, Vice President, Global Connected Consumer, has elected to leave GM to pursue other opportunities.
