Going for an internet speed upgrade.

Seen a few adverts on TV for the 200Mbps broadband, so thinking why not...
I currently have up to 152Mbps, so its a little faster. I use the website Speedtest.net and it gives you speed results.

So I'm already getting faster than I'm meant to. That should be 152Mbps, but have seen 158Mbps on previous days. Today I'm getting 162, the ping is great too, the lower the ping is also an indication of performance aslo good for playing online games on the PS4.

All done, new router.

Will have to try out the PS4 later on. Some of the games you can download on the PS4 are huge, Star Wars demo was 7.8Gb (that like 2 DVD's) took around 18mins to download before.

I can presume when I get home this afternoon you'll be on the PS4 then?? Lol.....not that I mind as it cost a lot and he hardly plays on it!

Yep been on the PS4, Downloaded updates. All good so far. Been working on circuit board design today. Impressed with how quick the install of the new router went, nice one virgin media

Also virgin media here, but we keep telling them to drop the speed and drop the price.
We just don't use it beyond browsing and email.
