Google Satnav giving me a 1hr route for a 5min drive

Dave will like this one, I know how much he likes google.

Every day about 4.30pm the phone seems to want to tell me the best route home depending on traffic. I live 5 mins away, as you can see from the map the start and end points are in walking distance. However the sat nav feels the need to take me almost to Southampton on the motorway and back home via the backroads.

Although it thinks traffic is good on the M27 I don't think it its going to be better an many other alternative route to get home if the main road home is blocks.

Anyway, thought I'd share this, I chuckled over it.

Hahaha! I don't think we'll be going that way somehow lol.

That would be Google taking you past multiple anpr cameras so that they can track your movements, speed and driving style. They will also be taking you past multiple shops and petrol stations in the hope that you buy something. This way they record and sell your PIN number along with the database of your likes, geographical movements, shopping preferences and farting habits to the highest bidder, or anyone at all really!
They get kick backs from the Green Party and the highways agency for increasing congestion on congested roads so that they can tax road users more and sell the footage from cctv to the insurance companies so that they will declare your insurance invalid for inadvertently putting a tyre on a white line!
All the while the Facebook app is discretely monitoring what you look at so that it can sell another database to phishing companies in the hope that they can de-fraud you out of your money, pension, kidney (delete as appropriate).

It's a conspiracy I tells ya!

Lololololol

Lol, I just had to set him off. :)

They are watching, but we can pick up their thoughts with the above method.
