In 1965, Pontiac produced what became Motor Trend Magazine"s car of the year; the beautiful new Bonneville.

The standard production model came with the 389ci V8 platform with a three speed Synchromesh transmission producing a stated 325 hp.
Options offered, which are included with this lovely example are
Aircon,
power brakes,
power steering,
all round power windows,
and tilt steering wheel.
It is (i believe) all stock original running gear and has had extensive restoration work done to it along with a beautiful 2 color deep black and red finish .
It has just over 16000 miles on the clock and it is possible that this is original mileage as it was originally the official pace car for the Hibbing MN race track! (as verified thru the initial online ad and previous owner)
Being a pace car and having spent a few years off the road being restored it wouldnt be unusual for this to be actual mileage.
It has seen very little mileage since being restored and it was for that reason that it was put up for sale, so that it could be driven and enjoyed for the exceptional vehicle that it is.
It is not quite concourse and certainly no trailer queen but this is most of the way there having been well looked after since (documented) restoration took place and having been kept in a heated garage.

So why for sale?
We bought 2 cars to cross country in the US earlier this year but unfortunately it didnt happen. This and the consequences of having to change plans has now left us with two outsize cars when we only need one. Hence one of them has to go.
We have no preference on which we keep (the other is a 64 Impala). We would however like to try and sell one of them before registering the vehicle in the UK as storing 2 will be difficult, but not impossible. And if either are sold to a european interest there would be no need to UK register, so a quick sale would mean we could sell slightly cheaper than if we went to the trouble of UK registering either. It should be noted from this that the car is currently being shipped and is expected late march.

If the interest comes from Europe, we are even happy to drive/deliver the vehicle (at cost) as we are that confident that this vehicle will drive anywhere.

Need to know anything further, we will answer 1 email and then expect to be called to talk to serious buying interests. Anything that we havent put in this ad, well answer any serious questions honestly and promptly. We are busy people so have patience if we cant reply immediately. Emails are likely to elicit more prompt responses. We will at this price have the car MOT"d. If a buyer wishes to take it unregistered/MOT"d then we can potentially negotiate.
One final word - this is FOR SALE and Cash only. Any correspondence of any kind that doesnt respect this simple concept will be ignored.
