Lovely old straight six Packard from 1947. Imported some years ago and subject to an extensive restoration by an Essex based enthusiast this car is now needing a little more love and attention to bring it up to standard. <br />
<br />
Paint. Sable and blue, generally very nice but not show winning standard. <br />
Interior. Quite presentable a mix of old and new, it needs some attention around the edges and a new set of door seals to make it lovely. Has lovely period extra indicators.<br />
Engine etc. Starts, runs and drives nicely, clutch lovely and 3 speed hand change great. Leaks a bit of oil and has an exhaust manifold leak.New old stock carburetor in 2017.<br />
Wheels & tyres. 5 good radial tyres on repainted rims with good wheel trims with Packard logo.<br />
Electrics. Running on six volts and many of the lights are a bit hit and miss, has had a partial rewire, needs some more work.<br />

This is my second Packard and I have owned this car for a couple of years. Work and family commitments prevent me getting this car to a good a standard and it is not getting the use it deserves. The car is in Maidstone Kent. <br />

Where will you find such a beautiful old for this sort of money?<br />
