Hampshire Wedding and Transport Show 2014

Sunday 17th August 2014, its free entry.
We have been invited as a club by the chap with the stunning camper van, (cant recall his name, and I only spoke to him on Sunday at Worthing)
Anyway he is putting on a car show along side the Wedding and Prom show. This may even give people idea on what cars they want for proms next year (although you are not allowed to advertise your services there, but if people approach you that is fine)

It will be at Ford Widley, Portsdown Hill Road, PO6 3LS

7 on one day. Although the Southsea cruise is an evening thing, so you could do two events in one day.

I got married for ?10 last time. Hopefully can make more of a cost saving next time.
mother in law paid for the hall.
a friends mum done the balloon decorations.
my uncle done the DJ'ing.
I worked for a printing firm, so all the invites were free.
The ?10 quid came in, as had to put fuel in the car to borrow the works van to pick up the DJ, take the work van at the party hall, no drinking for me, as had to drop the DJ back to portsmouth, then back to the hall to drive off in my MK1 cavalier to the hotel the mother in law paid for.
Some people say they could write a book about my life, after re-reading what I done, its quite comical. lol.

His name is MARK by the way Dan and a nice fella he was. Looks like it should be a good thing to go to as not too far having been to Selsey on the Saturday

I'm dreadful with names. Saw him last night, good job he was there, gave me a push in the car to get it going, think the starter has given up. Almost crushed his leg though as it rolled back, which was a tad lucky. I will remember his name now.

I might go to this actually if they still have space. Would like to be in the bit where can advertise, but am guessing they'll be charging for that.. Have just emailed them anyway, see what they say.. Are you guys getting in for free for the car show bit?

Yeah looks like I will be going Dan so look forward to catching up with yas. One of the organisers, Mark, just called me and we chatted for 20mins or so, seems like a good bloke as Tracey mentioned. He said he goes to some of your Solent Renegade things, the odd cruise and Farmhouse do. Basically if you want to advertise the cost is ?30, so I'm gonna pay up and get myself a plot apparently next to some party bus. We'll both be at the entrance outside the main business promotional section as we won't get under the arch.

I don't know if this will effect what time we leave Mick's but Mark has said for us to be there at 10am.

Yes i spoke to Mark last club meet so we said leave hill at 9:50 as it is literally across the road and he was ok with that.
