The star of Smokey and the Bandit is celebrating his 78'th Birthday.

Great films, good to watch again, and such a great car in it too. Brings back many great memories from years ago.

The '78 in Hooper.
The '80 in Smokey and the Bandit II.

Then a couple of years ago he commissioned the boys at Year-One (with Restore a Musclecar) to build the one you have pictured him with. Obviously he is big fan of the cars.
Shame he went broke a couple of years ago and had to sell them all!

Still got a laminated sign photo of him with a 2nd gen around somewhere.
