This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 5th gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 fitted with the Hennessey HPE1200 package. There is no mention of the HPE1200 package in the Camaro section of the Hennessey website, but we know from the video details that this ZL1 is fitted with a unique twin turbo system. In the video, this Camaro ZL1 is making a rip on the dyno with race fuel and the boost pressure cranked up to 20 psi. We get to see and hear the turbocharged LSA roar from a variety of angles before getting a quick look at the dyno chart screen. The results are 1,145.21 horsepower and 1,109.9 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. If we use a drivetrain loss ratio of 15%, this Camaro is making 1,347 horsepower at the front of the transmission. Also, in the video comments, a Hennessey representative commented that on 93 horsepower, this twin turbo Camaro ZL1 package has made around 940 rear wheel horsepower which isn"t too shabby.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: 5th Gen Camaro, camaro, Camaro ZL1, Dyno Blast
