I saw that on the news too and thought - OMG!!!

Was there any update to what happened? Was it ice on the wing? I saw a lot of the accident on the news, but no follow up explanation which is not uncommon for the news.

I think it was critical engine failure shortly after take-off. The pilot radioed Mayday's.
