Ever tried to draw a car by hand? Surprisingly tough, isn't it? Well, try being Mr Filippo Perini, Lambo's design chief and the man tasked with shaping the successor to the Gallardo - the car that transformed Lamborghini from knocking out 250 cars a year to around 2,000 cars annually. No pressure, then.
"There's a lot of pressure to design a new Lamborghini," Filippo recently told Top Gear. "When you consider the company has iconic cars like the Miura, Diablo, Aventador, you can understand my stress as I don't just have to produce a beautiful car, but an iconic car."
But how do you draw it? Thankfully Filippo has made a little video to enlighten you. As you can see, Mr Perini is very good at his job. And has a freakish ability to freehand perfect circles and turn a sheet of white paper into a gorgeous supercar in under five minutes. Count us impressed.
So if you've got a bit of Neil Buchanan in you and want to have a crack at sketching a Huracan, sharpen your pencils, follow the video and send the results to editor@topgear.com. And then read our first drive of the Huracan here.
