A world record $1.6 BILLION was up for grabs in the US PowerBall Lottery this week, and apparently there are three tickets that have matched the winning numbers. People were so attracted to the massive prize that at one point, ticket sales hit $1.3 million per minute, even if the odds of winning were actually a faintly incomprehensible 292 million to one. But still.Even split three ways, each winner gets $533,000,000. But then they must pay 39.6 percent tax (in addition to any state taxes), which means a basic tax bill of $211,200,000. After the Government has taken it"s share, therefore, the lucky winners will pocket roughly a measly $322,133,000 - or about 223-and-a-half million quid. Hardly worth the bus ticket to pick up the cheque, huh.Which obviously begs the question: what cars would you buy? Here"s some of the most ostentatious that might even make a dent in that win or you could just buy 4100-ish BMW M3s and drive a new one every day, once, for the next 11.2 years.Or a new Dacia Sandero every day for the next 102 years.
